Untitled Bane of Existence

Untitled Bane of Existence is a reflection of an issue in London and the United Kingdom that politically is being ignored. The Grenfell Tower fire in 2017 was the worst fire in a century of British history which was, as David Lammy has detailed, “corporate manslaughter”. Now 2 years since the disaster, residents still haven’t been rehoused, cladding of that make still exists on scaled buildings, the building still rises covered by a green sheet and the same people are still in power. There is stasis. We are the watchers.
