A Theartofus project. 2021. A quick trip to our local recycling centre ended on a positive note when we came away with two fully functioning bikes and a repair kit for the total price of £30. The bikes, although not pictured, started as gloss blue and silver with generic graphics and logos. We took them home, scrubbed them up, removed the rust, oiled them, then customised them with paint and pens we had leftover at home. These bikes have now taken us to local towns and rivers we usually would visit in the car, a rewarding experience. This is the first of many small internal projects that aim to highlight ways of living on a budget, living sustainably and releasing your creativity however you like. If you have an environmental or community project you'd like to collaborate on, let us know!

Stickers saved over many years make the perfect, personal customisation tool.
Inspired by the varying terrain lines found on a map - influenced by the journey.
Matt black posca, acrylic and leftover spray paint. These tools wont last forever but they make for a sturdy base coat on a budget.
