Urban Love

A Berlin based design studio, OnLab hosted a students workshop titled Urban Love - Intimacy and Seduction in the Urban Landscape. Divided into seven groups, students developed a thematic chapter within ten days, creating a modular publication presented to the public during a gallery opening hosted on the last day of the workshop. The fifth booklet, titled Zoned Love focuses on the idea of cities directly influencing the various relationships between people while being shaped and organised according to our emotional actions. The piece confronts stereotyped “love zones” to the geography of the city. By unfolding the booklet and holding it through the light, front and back connect, allowing both love zones to meet.
