Urban Revivo’s winter campaign offers a modern twist on the contemporary fashion film, as glitchy editing and visual illusions distort the viewer’s perception of reality. The surreal piece, directed by Tim Wong, follows an ensemble of boldly dressed models who march around an abstract set, their rhythm and pace recalling that of a runway show. As the camera motions gradually, the scene gives off the impression that it is stuck in a constant loop. We sourced the music for the film, utilising a dark and brooding soundscape that fuses electronic elements with implied natural sounds. The resulting audio is a mixture of the familiar and the unplaceable, which augments the effect of the absurd and uneasy visuals.
