On October 28, 2016, V&A teamed up with online magazine and collective gal-dem. With an all-female line up, gal-dem invited Unmasked Women to host an exhibition as part of #FridayLate.
Unmasked Women is an exhibition channeling the Black British female experience through creatives will be showcasing a new sub-series titled Identity, which will dissect the identities of Black British Women.
To further explore the discussion on Black mental health, it is important to dissect how we need the Black British identity to examine what effect this has on our mental well-being.
