Velvet Cave Promotional Clothing Shoot

Velvet Cave's story begins with a vintage loving 15 year old buying bargains from charity shops and selling her wares online. A couple of years later this developed into a full time occupation and Velvet Cave was born. The shop's name comes from a song by 1960s experimental psychedelic band Silver Apples and seemed perfect considering her love of the era and obsession with velvet.
Now 7 years on, Imogen Rolfe is still hunting high and low for hand picked vintage treasures which adhere to the shop's unique 60s & 70s inspired aesthetic. She has now branched out into selling her own handmade vintage inspired designs, primarily in velvet fabrics. Each garment is handmade with great care before being beautifully packaged in 100% recyclable materials and sent out to you. Operating from her base in Stoke Newington, London, she sends her designs all over the world.
All modelling is done by friends or acquaintances of the brand, who love the clothes just as much as Imogen. Velvet Cave offers several customisable options meaning customers come away with an item that fits perfectly and they are 100% happy with. They believe in keeping that personal touch and adding that extra magic whilst still keeping clothing affordable. By buying Velvet Cave Clothing consumers are recycling vintage and highly limited edition handmade designs, not only getting something unique but environmentally friendly and ethically produced.
