VIACOM SHOWCASE | FIVE JSR ILLUSTRATORS

Five JSR illustrators were asked to create an interpretation of a Viacom smash hit show for their annual VIMN event that happens the day before the MTV EMAs. The event is being held in Rotterdam on Sunday the 5th November. The Showcase is to present VIMN, its portfolio of brands, to a highly influential and important audience who are in town for the EMA weekend. 600 guests will be invited to explore a large gallery space curated around 4 key zones that each contain various exhibits that bring to life the different Viacom brands and top shows. The work will be featured in an exhibition ‘VIACOM GLOBAL SMASH HIT SHOWS’ EXHIBIT 1 – ‘A-Z’. featuring 26 commissioned artworks, each representing one of the letters of the alphabet and a smash hit show or film. Each artist was asked to give their interpretation of the letter matching the franchise: B is for Bikini Bottom - Yippiehey created his version of Spongebob Squarepants's Bikini Bottom H is for (Real) Husbands of Hollywood Luke Waller interpreted the reality show Y is for You Bastards! Harrison Edwards worked on SouthPark and all the ways they killed Kenny. U is for USS Enterprize -Raid71 illustrated the ship from Star Trek A is for Airplane - Stephanie F Scholz created her version of the classic comedy
