It’s also about self-examination, understanding how well you can read the space. These images represent a collective portrait of student life within the building. The residents are all part of something, yet each of us has a certain room, which we are calling our own. Personalities are depicted through the way space and personal belongings are organised within it. The work potentially allows the viewer to become secretly familiar with the people, without necessarily seeing them.
