Video Cycle Planning

As cycling gains popularity in the UK, we question the ability of existing urban planning procedures to adapt to changes in public activity. Through the research and reappropriation of contemporary analysis tools used in sport, [Hawk Eye, goal line technology and dash cams], a mode of documentation is developed which creates a visual spectacle with which to discuss the use of space in an impartial and accessible way. The process of aggregating video data works towards greater harmony between motorists and cyclists by using lived experience as evidence, counter to traditional methods of infrastructure planning.
