My shortlisted entry for the D&AD New Blood Awards 2019 Virgin Atlantic now offers hotel stays and experiences at the point of booking flights. This new ‘Flight + Hotel’ proposition is about being able to confidently book an entire trip at the touch of a button. My task was to create naming and branding for the sub-brand ‘Flight + Hotel’, which should inspire people to be more spontaneous, show all the advantages of this way to travel and look harmonious in the Virgin Group, but at the same time be different from Virgin Holidays. The main advantage of the ‘Flight + Hotel’ is saving time. That’s why the clock metaphor was chosen for the style.
