A rebrand of ‘Visual Culture in Britain’ – a triannual journal from Taylor and Francis, that publishes original work broadly defined as ‘visual culture’. The journal seeks material engaged with the period from the 18th century to the present day and addresses a range of relevant debates. With such a broad topic area, the design called for a clean, easy to navigate structure, and a timeless style suitable for academic reading. The incorporation of timeline-style elements adds some personality to the journal and, alongside the use of different paper stocks, allows for easy navigation through the journal.
