Visual identity for a non-profit artist run organisation

Visual identity designed for Rajataide – one of the oldest artist-run organisations (est.1996) in Finland. Rajataide also runs the art space Rajatila. The design had to be flexible and easy for the organisation to use on their own, so we designed a simple, but a strong identity that allows for some flexibility. The logo plays with the fact that the word RAJA (=border in Finnish) is part of both names: RAJATAIDE (association) and RAJATILA (gallery). The strong yellow was kept as an element from the previous identity binding the logo to the past and increasing familiarity.
