Wandle Industrial Museum

By adapting and an existing adult nature trail into a fun adventure day for children, I came up with a new way for the community to interact with this unloved yet highly important local museum. I designed an activity pack which included the 'Explorer's Diary' and a colour-coordinated map of the trail (which doubles up as a dust jacket for the diary). This was all held together by an algae paper wrap fastened with the 'Official Explorer's Badge', and given to the children in a carry case which included pens and was somewhere they could store their lunch. All the drawings you see have been generated through a mock run of the project. The distinct look of the outcomes are due to drawing on a grid based on a William Morris pattern.
