Wearable Tech    Just like a fit bit or an apple watch, we see activewear moving into wearable tech. As the pandemic continues and we see people finding new ways to keep track of their fitness.  We’re going to be moving away from on body devices to integrated wearable tech in garments in various forms.  Tech and fashion have been in sweet harmony for a while. Wearable tech in sportwear has been rolled out in different forms for many years. For instance, Supa’s limited addition sports bra which has a heartrate sensor which allows you to monitor your heartrate whilst on the go.   Or the Nadi X yoga smart leggings which when connected with their app leads you in a guided yoga session with sensors around the hips, knees and ankles which give gentle vibrations to guide the session. Plus Nurvv Run, these sneakers have built in sensors in the insoles which analyse the athletes running technique.   And moving in to wellness and active wear Thinx have launched an activewear collection that have built in heat pads on the waistband to ease period cramps.  As we see activewear being doubled up as lifestyle and wellness garments, with the trajectory that technology is moving in to we will see designers moving in to begin to incorporate more tech in our everyday sportswear garments.  Tell us what you think in the comments below.
