Wembley Park art trail Winter 22 campaign

I was approached by Wembley Park to create a piece of work for their art trail Winter 22 campaign, which is being exhibited from the end of November to the 26th of February 2023. They have various site-specific artworks scattered throughout the park, I was chosen to create 12 illustrations for the iconic Spanish Steps which are located on Wembley Park Boulevard, in the heart of Wembley Park, outside the National Stadium. The brief was quite open with a general theme of a joyful, family-focused Winter’s Wander. I wanted to create a piece where each section of stairs can be seen as an illustration on its own but when you stand back the series of 12 connected and tell a story of togetherness. I chose elements of the season that I find positive, creating a sense of fun and excitement with families and friends of all different kinds celebrating the season but most importantly being together. What an absolute dream of a project!
