West Highland Way

  • Gary Ellis
The West Highland Way is Scotlands oldest long distance trail covering 96 miles, of scenic beauty and tough terrain. The Way takes you from the Lowlands of Milngavie to the Highlands of Fort William exhibiting some of the most breath-taking landscapes Scotland has to offer along the way.

It has been a personal goal of mine for many years to walk the West Highland Way, having grown up around Loch Lomond I have always had a love for the area with it contributing to me finding my passion for photography. The historic and scenic locations have always been an interest of mine and being able to document my time discovering these has allowed me to fully know the true beauty and story to be told by the West Highland Way.
