What A Waste - Graduate Collection

What a waste is a creative design project that looks into our relationship with trash, how some cherish it and others have an ‘out of sight out of mind’ attitude towards it. My aim for this project was to raise awareness of these issues and create an interesting collection that has a significant improvement from the destructive techniques and fabrics that most designers do to form their collections. My initial thoughts when forming my idea before design were that I really wanted to aim to create a collection that was vegan and sustainable by following some rules to be either recycle-able, recycled or biodegradable. I kept these values in mind whilst creating design ideas and kept an aim to use creative and sustainable textiles to enhance my designs.
