What Lies Beneath

An educational and awareness campaign project we created with Cornish Environment Charity, "Our Only World" The animated explainer video was created to be shown on social media, played in local Cornish schools, and to be presented to potential investors of the charity. With it being used to fundraise for an Eco-Charity we were excited to make the artwork as beautiful as possible. We wanted to honour the beauty of the local Cornish area and based the final scene in Port Isaac. Re-wilding local harbour walls can have a massive impact within the first year of installing SEAlive Tiles you can expect to see 30% more marine life in the area. We worked closely with Tina Robinson developing the script and storyboard together. The final art was created in Procreate and animated in After Effects. We animated this project in under a month. We would like to say a massive thank you to the funder, The Mandy Thornton Memorial Trust. We were so excited to help Our Only World's great work and learn more about the impact installing these tiles can have on the local ecosystems.
