Wheyd

  • Josh Randle

Increasingly we understand just how easy it is to be mislead and deceived when it comes to aftercare. Wheyd is an ambitious protein start-up with a social purpose. Adam needed a rebrand that would have real impact and substance. What I Delivered: Visual Identity, Creative Direction, Package Design, Brand Guidelines & Environments.

Brief
Wheyd is a protein brand who give easier access to a protein source which is honest, clean and helps give back along the way. For rebrand, we were challenged with creating a brand identity that would have real grit and authenticity. Bold, brave and not giving a sh*t.
Approach
We quickly concluded that with Wheyd - what you see is what you get. A recovery supply. No unachievable lifestyles. No ridiculous promises. Just the way it should be. Quick nutrition, high quality protein, simple aftercare. Straight up whey. Founded on principles of progression and honesty, we drew inspiration from crossfit culture and its no bullsh*t. supportive, cult-like aura. Developing a strategy which focusses on supporting its audience not only from a nutritional perspective but personal progression too.
Outcome
We delivered the brand for launch across both print and digital platforms, advising and guiding every step of the way. We created visuals that hero and celebrate ambition and inspire progression. It was important that the visuals felt bold and brave. This is a brand with a appetite to develop its audience health and wellbeing and has found its way on to the shelves of crossfit gyms across the UK.
