PURPOSE Disney approached our partnerships division to secure a promotional partner for the remix of the 1992 American Sports Comedy Film, White Men Can't Jump. The film would star Jack Harlow, Sinqua Walls and Vince Staples and would stream on Disney+ on May 19. Whilst it's very close to the original storyline it’s been updated and relevant for today’s audiences. INFLUENCE #UPYOURGAME To celebrate the remix of the iconic movie, we secured a partnership with Kick Game; a brand at the forefront of the sneaker world in the UK making them a perfect fit for such a nostalgic, streetwear-heavy film. The partnership demonstrated Kick Game's ability to keep their finger on the pulse across sport & culture. It was kicked off with a pre-screening reception produced by our events team at Kick Game's flagship Covent Garden store. The event was hosted by Craig Mitch and consisted of entertainment from a live DJ as well as basketball themed activations. The main attraction on the evening was an installed mini basketball court which we designed for an ultimate social content moment. The event saw guests Sienna King, Poet and captain of the GB Basketball team, Myles Hesson in attendance. On top of the competitions held at the event and as part of the wider promotion Kick Game ran competitions exclusively at their UK store locations offering participants an opportunity to win a range of prizes including an Ultimate Home Entertainment bundle, premium sneakers and custom Kick Game x White Men Can't Jump basketballs.
