Whitechapel High Street

A buidling by TOG.
Architects: Morrow + Lorraine

Offices, co-working, meeting rooms.
One of 34 TOG buildings, this is one for those who like fresh start-up chic. With white walls, art-deco pastel colour palettes and wood-block polished floors, it’s the kind of place that sets ideas alight, and we think architects Morrow & Lorraine have really created a brainstorming, motivating environment with a roof garden and yes, great coffee.
Situated in Whitechapel, this part of East London is close to the City but with its own special flavour. As well as the astonishingly diverse street life, there’s the Whitechapel Gallery: founded in 1901 and long one of London’s finest public galleries which has shown so many important artists from Picasso and Pollock. A short walk south is Wilton’s, the oldest surviving music hall in the world, now home to an innovative theatre, and close by is one of London’s most famous streets, Brick Lane – itself home to many tech start-ups, as well as curry houses and bagel shops.
