I wanted to evoke a sense of discomfort and being watched from the viewer’s perspective to represent the feelings of social anxiety expressed by the main character (Ogechi).
Examining the text through a psychological lens, I interpreted Ogechi’s behaviour of constantly comparing herself with others as a byproduct of the underlying social anxiety, derived from the context of the fictional story.
