At least 46% of students deal with loneliness - the unspoken truth of uni life, fed by unrealistic + unhealthy expectations Bronwyn Cheshire & Emily Brentnall won our CC award for their project that redefined the difference between loneliness vs. spending time alone & encouraged students to let go of the pressure of having to be social all of the time Their project not only addressed helping students directly, but also putting more pressure on institutions to support their pupils in their experiences with mental health struggles.
