Winter vineyard illustration for St Dalfour
I was thrilled to create a winter vineyard illustration for St Dalfour’s holiday card! The illustration showcases a picturesque French landscape, with a vineyard in the foreground and a charming village in the background. People skate around a Christmas tree on a frozen pond, while snow blankets everything, creating a cozy wintery scene.
The client’s brief focused on highlighting the vineyard and grapes, key ingredients in St Dalfour’s fruit spreads, while incorporating festive elements like a Christmas tree and a vibrant, lively feel. I developed three sketch options, each incorporating these elements.
The client loved option 1, so I created coloured roughs to refine the vision and ensure I captured the right mood.
They chose option 2 featuring the dark green and navy blue, the two St Dalfour’s signature brand colours.
