In this collaborative project, poet and film-maker Claire Trévien travelled across Oxford interviewing its citizens about the city. Armed with a Nikon D3400, her phone, and not much else, she asked butchers and scullers, fruitsellers and administrators, teachers and body artists, to describe the city through its smells and physicality. The answers have been political and poetic, witty and pessimistic – as varied as the city itself. There is also a series of found video poems, collaged from words found across the streets, buildings, and vehicles of Oxford.
