Wren Illustration: Plum&BerryDesigns

Since the first illustration of a Eurasian Wren was doing so well i thought i would do another. I love to look at as many different angles of the bird as possible! This not only allows me to get a true likeness of the animal but also their character. I particularly love doing wildlife illustrations and exploring how i can show the texture of the feathers or fur and the variations of colour. One thing i have learnt over the years is to use a variety of shades, like in this case brown and golden shades to bring forward the depth of the body.
