  • Jay Parekh

Wysing Art Centre’s 10th annual experimental music festival, curated in 2019 by Somerset House Studios, is a staple of the experimental music scene and highlight of Wysing's programme. Described by The Guardian as 'one of the most valuable music festivals in the country - a place where the best new ideas in music take hold'. This years international line-up includes AMRA, Beatrice Dillon, Brood Ma, Emma Smith, Erica Scourti, NSDOS, Flora Yin-Wong, hmurd, Jacob Samuel, Jennifer Walshe, Jesse Darling, Loraine James, Marija Bozinovska Jones, Mun Sing, Sonic Cyberfeminisms, Tabitha Thorlu-Bangura, Valentina Magaletti, Ziúr, and ZULI. The visual identity for the campaign revolved around an artwork (titled ‘nimiia ïzinibimi'), commissioned from artist Jenna Sutela, by Somerset House Studios. The artwork was then formatted into content for social media such as GIFs, teasers and headshots.
