Self Initiated: Digital Dim Sum Dining
Pushing the forms of contemporary dining, Xin is the future digital restaurant that encourages interaction between guests through an interactive table. The restaurant serves Chinese Dim Sum, which is traditionally shared amongst the diners with a selection of dishes and is accompanied with drinking tea. The digital interface is designed with pictograms for the main menu, and functions of the operating system. The visual language continues for other elements in the digital restaurant, including the interactive way-finding and cooking order system for chefs and waiters.
