FC Dallas brought on Groove Jones to help them kick off the season with a new fan experience. Soccer fans of all ages got the chance to step inside our XR Avatar Scanner. They were then scanned and transported onto the pitch at Toyota Stadium, where they got to make the game-winning goal! Check out the video below to see another guest’s scan integrated into the gameplay action. Using a system powered by AI (Artificial Intelligence) and ML (Machine Learning), we could process every scanned person, regardless of what they were wearing. In seconds, their data was analyzed and processed to add them to the action video. The system then sent a link to the user so they could watch and download their custom video. Salesforce licensed our XR Avatar Scanner, a portable volumetric scanner, for the Salesforce Connections Chicago conference to create a one-of-a-kind experience and takeaway for their event guests. The Groove Jones team scanned thousands of attendees at the event and integrated their digitalized avatars into a customized bespoke fashion show featuring Astro sporting a pair of Crocs. NCAA Men’s and Women’s Final Four Championship Fan Experience for LG

Cogent World and Allied Sports partnered with Groove Jones to design and build the experience for their fan activations for the men’s NCAA Final Four Championship. For the Men’s NCAA Final Four in Houston, Texas, the experience leveraged our XR Avatar Scanner, rebranded as the LG MAX Out XR Experience, allowed fans to be volumetrically scanned and then turned into a fantastic video where they perform a signature slam dunk over an LG Counter-Depth Max Mirror InstaView Refrigerator. The scanner captures their 3d data while at the same time taking multiple pictures of their body using 50 cameras. The system then automatically uses that data to create a 3D model you can share with friends.
