THE HEADLINES:
Managed Brighton Neo-soul/Jazz 4 piece Yakul handling all facets of their career, with a very successful 6 months introducing their work to the wider music world and garnering interest from Record Labels, Booking Agents and securing funding for their next release which is being recorded in the studio at the moment.
• Released “Realigned” handling all facets of the release including Social Media, PR, Artwork, Marketing, securing distribution and Spotify Playlisting.
• Attained over 350,000 streams on Spotify alone a twenty fold increase on previous releases.
• Secured bookings for main stage of Big Love Festival, Love Supreme and main stage of El Dorado.
• Secured headline shows at Patterns, Alternative Escape, Jazz Cafe, Ronnie Scott’s, The Pickle Factory plus multiple supports to sold out rooms.
• Secured funding for the new EP from PledgeMusic and PRS Foundation with industry wide coverage, set for release in 2019.
• Managed administration including PRS/PPL, newsletters, label negotiation, booking agent negotiations, tour management.

The live session of Realigned, the single we released together as created by Wild Stag Studios that created this absolutely wondrous video that helped in raising the profile of the Yakul band.
Above is the poster/video from the Musiq Soulchild songbook session at London's Jazz Cafe. Selling 80% of tickets beforehand they performed two sets: one Musiq Soulchild and finishing with a Yakul set. Guest features that night included YoungVegas with some of his distinctive hip hop plus a full brass section plus a full brass section.
The artwork as created by John Biggs again for their new single "Bad Karma" released on the 11th November 2018 and premiered by EARMILK.
Yakul were invited back by the Jazz Cafe in Camden to support the St Paul and the Broken Bones show to a sold out room.
At the Great Escape Festival we were very busy playing at 1BTN's Alternative Escape, Back In The Woods Promotions' The Alternative Escape at Cafe Plenty as well as headlining the QM Records' The Alternative Escape at The Mesmerist.
