YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO KEEP SILENCE

My project describes the wide diversity of immigrants living in UK. These people live in the UK because of the legal and social repressions they have experienced in their home countries, due to their sexual orientation.
Through my project I want to raise awareness of how different the rights that homosexual people have in countries around the world. There are 80 countries where homosexuality is illegal and repression various from imprisonment to the death penalty.
I have presented people who, due to legal reasons or social implications, can’t lead a normal life in their home countries. I showed them as free ‘criminals’, by using connotations of imprisonment in surroundings with lack of restrictions.
Background describes them as regular citizens, leading safe life where they have a right to be a human. Foreground with police line up reminds us that same people are considered as a criminals or offenders in countries of their origins.
