Young Edinburgh Artist's

Myself and two fellow university students co-founded Young Edinburgh Artists (YEA) in our second year of study at the University of Edinburgh. Following a realisation that young artists in the city had a lack of opportunity to exhibit their art in public spaces, we created a curatorial programme to present these artists with a unique chance to exhibit their art publicly, free from jury or need for funding. In January of 2022 and 2023, YEA successfully held two public exhibitions, presenting artworks by more than thirty artists. On top of this, many artists had the opportunity to proudly sell their artworks to members of the public. My role included social media management, brand marketing and curating.
