Prompt: New Sauerkraut produce to hit the Auckland's fresh, organic, and health food stores. Packaging needs to be eye catching, colorful and reflective of Zeli's handmade and traditional Czech essence.
Approach: After Researching about the history of Czech Sauerkraut and cuisine we decided to come up with three different approaches. The first reflecting simplicity with a homemade handcrafted vibe, the second focusing more on Czech heritage, patterns and designs, while the third focused on a more modern and illustrated presentation.
Result: The Chef chose option 1, as he felt it reflected the importance of his hand-crafted, fresh, and healthy Sauerkraut recipes. (Collaborated with Alisa Asami at Redfire Design 2016)
