advice needed: Where can I find market events to be apart of?

I am looking to get more involved in showcasing and market events but I am struggling to find such opportunties.
I would be grateful for any advice on how to reach out to events and where do I start to find showcasing events or market places?

- @Linsey M I sell painted goods such as card holders and bags etc. But also take custom orders for shoes. I have done a few pop ups but would love to be apart of bigger events, I just feel like I always find them too late or I just don't know how to approach them!
- There are loads of independent markets about, often you have to apply for spaces and send through a portfolio. What type of things would you like to sell? and where?What type of events do you see yourself/product selling at? festivals? pop ups?A google or instagram search would be great, see where other similar makers are selling etc... :)
