Am I the only who’s excited by new Brexit rules? From now worker will be treated in the same way no matter if he/she is EU citizen or not

  • @Tomaz Mrevlje I agree but I’m sure If total amount of workers(foreigners) will stay the same this year we can say system worked well. I understand it will increase competition between EU & Non-EU workers but I’m sure it will be in a positive way for businesses.
  • Well before Brexit a pretty large group of people (EU citizens) had easier access to the UK market. While the rest (non-EU citizens) didn’t. Yes both groups will now be treated the same (if your assumption is correct - I myself have too little knowledge to claim the same), but that means more people will have a harder time. In my opinion the other way around would be a positive, meaning both EU and non-EU having it easier not harder. In this way I see it as a negative for the said large group of people (EU citizens). For the non-EU nothing has changed.
