Any tips on where to look for animation jobs in London?
Is there a list of animation studios that produce cartoons and or 2d traditional animations?
I’m still working on my portfolio but I would like to have an idea of the type of opportunities available for an animator in London.

- Hi Michael, there is a huge number of 2D animation studios in London, the majority of them would be doing 2D motion graphics though. Among the ones focusing on traditional animation would be The Line, Shotopop, Golden Wolf, Studio AKA (they work on Hey Duggee), and sometimes studios like Nexus, Strange Beast or Blink Ink have traditional animation projects. There are also studios focusing on cartoons for TV (like Cartoon Network Studios or Tiger Aspect, which does a lot of cartoons for BBC). There's no list as such, but there's a very good animators community called 'festivus' on fb, which is quite helpful with opportunities and everything traditional animation related.
