Budding layout designers! Looking for experience in magazine design? Help me make the next issue of my food magazine Potluck Zine!
I'm looking for someone who's looking to get experience working in magazine layout design to support me in putting together the next issue of the food magazine I run, Potluck Zine.
The magazine is all about celebrating home cooking through personal stories, interviews, recipes, illustrations and poetry. It's now in it's 7th issue, and this time the theme we're focusing on is SNACKS. You can find out all about us on our website here: https://www.potluckzine.co.uk

We're not a big organisation- all our issues are funded from previous sales- so the budget isn't massive, but we can offer you £75 for the work you do, and as much support and guidance as you need to take the steps in your career, making ideal for someone looking to get started in the industry and build a portfolio rather than someone making their living from layout design already.
It's a remote freelance role, and we'd need you available for around a 5 days of work in July. Experience in and access to Adobe InDesign would be advantageous. You'll be working collaboratively with myself to come up with layouts and designs that compliment the work we publish, but if there's any other parts of magazine design you're interested in exploring, I'm more than happy to discuss getting you involved in this too!
