Can you help me revising my portfolio?

Hi, I just launched my website, I'm looking for English native speakers to help me revise what I wrote. Overall feedback would be great too. Thanks!

  • Hey Vanessa,

Hope you are well and keeping yourself safe.

    Just afew suggestions...
    >Homepage...
    1) I would add a gap after "...based in Italy." To make make the paragraphs more clear and separate from each other.

    2) I would add a URL on the end of "...so I’m always excited to start a new project to improve my skills." like "Click here to find out more" and the link takes you to the "About" page.

    3) Maybe add your contact details in the footage area like email and mobile number?

    > Project examples...
I would add more space at the end of"Brief" paragraphs to give more space to breathe. (Between Brief and The brand paragraphs)

    > About page...
I would add another line break after "I have experience in creating social media content (such as pictures, templates, videos, animations), advertising, branding, packaging, photography and web design."

I feel you don't need these two lines of text as it feels a little negitive on yourself... I would remove them or make them more positive? -
"I’m looking forward to improving myself and my professional skills."
and "I never take myself seriously and I’m too hard on myself (but I swear I’m working on it)"

Could you reword this "If you need me and you don’t find me I’m probably baking a cake or I’m just working out." to something like
"If I am not working on projects, then I'll be probably in the kitchen making tasty treats or working out in the gym!"

You said.... "I have experience in creating social media content (such as pictures, templates, videos, animations), advertising, branding, packaging, photography and web design." Don't tell us but show us the link to the work instead! If you can, try to link each word to an example of work. If that makes sense?

That's what I can see at the moment and I am happy to give more feedback after you make further changes and amends.

    Take care,
    Addz
