  • @Jessica Pain yes of course it’s frustrating and not easy to stay resilient. But rest assured, it’s only a phase that won’t endure. Keep networking, always nurture relationships and keep asking others how they’re dealing with similar challenges. It’ll turn around!
  • @Alessandro De Giacomo yeah I guess so. Been trying since I graduated from university a while ago to get my foot in the door but I haven’t seemed to have had much luck. I’ve done work experience in galleries and exhibitions but it doesn’t seem to be enough which personally I find frustrating.
  • @Jessica Pain I know what you mean. Sometimes it can help to step back for a bit, share your experience with others and find new perspectives. Looking back: What have I overlooked? Looking forwards: How could I reframe the situation?
  • @Alessandro De Giacomo Yeah they are :) I have put myself out there on social media but I'm not sure how else to promote my work really.
  • @Jessica Pain I found Cathy‘s tips below really good too! Any other ideas to maybe communicate more about your portfolio perhaps?
  • @Alessandro De Giacomo Hello! Thank you! That makes me really happy. I haven't found anything yet no. Have been looking but nothing has shown up yet.
