Does anyone know of any London based photographer agencies that are willing to represent a younger and not as established photographer?

It seems most renowned agencies have big names in their portfolios and would not consider "new faces". I have been seeking representation for a while now and can't seem to find the 'right' agency so if someone has any insight please let me know :)

  • @Alex Gavra keep on knocking out solid work mate and you should find you've made your own "luck". If you haven't checked them out have a look at the two books written by Lisa Pritchard (head honcho LPA) super helpful chapter on agencies full of insight and questions to ask oneself about if you really want to be repped or not.
  • @Mark Ivkovic Thanks Mark this is some useful insight

I suppose you are right, sometimes it might just be a matter of luck to get scouted by someone.
  • I think all I can add on this is if you can't find an agency that seems to fit what it is you feel you offer then neither is a client that wants that very thing. That make sense??
Most often agencies come sniffing when the times are good and you have juicy clients already banging on your door. To hunt out the smaller "niche" ones then I'd say it's face to face networking and meet ups (Not so much of that going on right now). Agencies want someone who they know will deliver to a client so "new faces" are a big risk and maybe not somehing they'd want to gamble at the mo.
