Does anyone know the average hourly and/or day rate of an entry level freelance motiongraphic designer in the UK?

- Check out Major Players annual survey. The average junior motion designer day rate is £220 at the moment. That being said, it is more dependent on the client.
- @Katy Mawhood Thanks KatyI'm not sure in the beginning without exposure and relevant experience and connections I can afford project or value based pricing, but agree its good to extract the clients budget. But please anybody correct me, if I'm wrong in terms of strategising with value-based pricing as an absolute starter.
- Hi Barna. Pricing can be so difficult to get right, it all depends on your experience and the work to be done. Sometimes, it helps to push the question back and ask the client what they are willing to pay. This gives insight on how the client values your work, and offers a starting point for negotiation if you want to shoot for something different.That said, when I started out as a freelance graphic designer I was recommended to aim for £25/hr.I'd love to hear what other people suggest. :)
