  • Hi @Celine Moya, I like your illustrations! I would suggest having your videos also on the work page rather than on a separate page. On the store page where you're selling a product make sure to have a description for the poster which will encourage someone to make a purchase. On the About page half of it looks empty so either has a picture of yourself (or an illustration of yourself) or expand the width of the text. On the contact page, I would recommend having a contact form.
  • Hi Mai! I would love to get some feedback on my illustration website celinemoya.com

    Many thanks!
  • Hi @Trikuti Naresh, I love your projects! No wonder you have recieved so many awards. Your website is clean and clear. My only suggestion to you would be to add a short description about you below the menu on the homepage as a way of introducing yourself to a new user. If possible add a text box for people to write messages for you to print on the notecards.
  • @Mai Elamin Hi Mai, thank you for this opportunity I would love to share my website and get some feedback from you.

  • Hi @Amber Lane, your website appears to present a lifestyle blogger website so showcase this in the homepage. The description in the homepage is not very clear so I would recommend having some imagery an about section below the top section and presenting a few things that you would see in the other pages below in a grid layout including pictures from instagram. Check out websites like vogue and other lifestyle bloggers. Your contacts page does not have a form which is important for someone to reach out to you which will hopefully get more people reaching out to you.
  • Hi @Nicholas Michael, Nice work! My question to you is do you want to present a design agency or yourself as a freelance designer? A design agency would present their services display their top projects with brief descriptions and show their team. However, your projects are very detailed since you're trying to explain your design process and you are presenting your own portfolio which is not expected from a design agency more from a designer promoting themselves to a recruiter. I would recommend looking at freelance designer websites and design agency websites to see which you identify more with and adopt the features that captivate you.
  • Hey Mai I would appreciate feedback for my website. https://amber3293.wixsite.com/neje?fbclid=IwAR1gz8XQ09lBQJDDzBj3pCV_yU-snNan6KeyghhbKiH1yVw_1wpaIaPvBQQ
  • Hi @Damien Pye, Interesting projects! I would recommend having a description at the top section introducing yourself and as a freelance graphic designer studying digital media at the University of Brighton. The grid layout of all the projects at the bottom would look better at the top rather than having huge block images of each project. It will enhance the user experience because the website would be shorter so it would load up faster and it would encourage the user to checkout all your projects. I'd also have a title of the project and a subheading for example, Secret 7 submission, Koffee - Toast record sleeve. I understand that what I have suggested would remove the parallax website effect but if you would still like to use it see how you can be a bit more creative with it because it is a trend where the background content (i.e. an image) is moved at a different speed than the foreground content while scrolling.

  • Hi @Jorge Margarido, the Wix ad is not bad but removing it will make you look more of a professional. Unfortunately, your website is too long so it would be better to have a grid layout and have the user be able to look at the project for example read about it and see some outcomes/ process. Also, I would suggest keeping your introduction short to just: Multi-disciplinary freelance designer (it's a perfect summary for you). Use your portfolio to display your top projects including your illustrations so you don't need to have separate websites you are a Multi-disciplinary freelance designer after all so why not showcase all your work on one website.
  • Hey Mai, thanks!
would love to know your thoughts on my website.

Do you think the winx add is that bad? I'm trying to keep my budget under control.
  • Hi @Maria Rodrigues, I love your work! Make sure to create consistency within the design of the website and layout of the pages so have the icon which you returns you to the top the same on the thumbnails page and projects. Also, on the about page the menu page goes away so make sure it shows the same way in all of the pages. On the thumbnails of your projects, below the title have a subheading describing the nature of the work if it was for a magazine or campaign. Instead of calling your project's custom write self-initiated, it would sound better and remove the WordPress icon add onto the menu blog and have the link open a new tab.
  • Hi @Valentina Wicki, I love your work! I would suggest thinking about the kind of person who will be viewing your website it could be a recruiter? Do a bit research and find what would they like to see in your portfolio? They often like to see your process and I would recommend expanding your descriptions of your projects. I would improve the layout of your website to create consistency within the pages to show professionalism. For example, typefaces and the menu should look the same for all the pages you could display the logo on the top left-hand corner and have the pages listed next to it or on the other side (in a smaller font).
