Gaffer/Lighting Director opportunity 16mm (travel expenses paid + lunches provided) Saturday10th & Sunday the 11th of August.
Hello! We are searching for an experienced Gaffer/Lighting director for our ambitious and fantastical short film ๐๐ฆ๐ญ๐ช๐ณ๐ช๐ถ๐ฎ. Experience working around 16mm cameras is a bonus. You will be working closely with our pro experienced DOP.
This is Canola Pictures' second short film; our first acheived success at festivals and we're hoping to build on this! You will be working with a pro cast and crew, including actors and crew who have worked on BBC, Netflix and equally estimable productions.
The camera has recently been used by Burberry in their instagram reels and content and is in great working condition
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the project being self funded, we are not in a position to pay any of the cast or crew. This is a voluntary position, but with travel expenses covered and lunches provided :)
The shoot will take place in the Hertfordshire village of Wallington, in which George Orwell lived and wrote Animal Farm. Transport can be provided from London, or train expenses covered.
