- Hi there, I used to do some niche automotive photography sone years back now, and how i grew my experience was by going to motorshow exhibitions shooting cars and networking. I also found small communities via social platforms like facebook and instagram. These communities would often hold events which i atteneded and was able to shoot more and build out a portfolio. Lastly i would often do editorial shoots focused on one car in and around locations and send them off to online magzines to see if they were interested in publication, just to get my name out there.
