Hello all! I keep seeing job ads that ask for photoshop skills. Anyone know of any good (free, preferably) learning resources? TIA!

  • YouTube is great! Adobe do loads of step by step ones too where you can download sample images and practice with them!
  • I mostly self taught myself or asked others how they achieved something. But a new resource that gives you access to loads of videos is Skillshare - they have loads of creative videos to teach you not just photoshop and its about £7 a month!

    Hope it helps x
  • I self-taught with YouTube tutorials too - they're great when you hit a particular snag and don't know how to get around it as you can find a specific video on pretty much any scenario. I'd also recommend using the tutorials within Adobe CC itself - you can follow an example project along step by step and really get your basics ticked off.
  • You can learn a lot with YouTube tutorials but don’t watch only the videos, do a lot of training. Was what I did, I had on my high school basic classes of photoshop it was when I actually came to know it and the everything that I know was on experimenting
