  • @Celia Coles Incredible I never thought I could give so much interest. And you are very precise in your explanations. Like you I have had the same problems "FOSTERING my own branding is a harsh process" thanks to people like Pip Jamieson that made this ploatform happens. To have GEEK like us working for a common scope, dissecting FAILIURE and a our FAILURES to leave this world one day a better place we found it, thanks to our story and talent. Much obliged Celia for the neat attention to this specific analysis.

  • Hi! This is looking really good, really thorough and detailed.

You’ve included a variety of work which is good, I’ve just noted a few of points below. They’re just suggestions on what I would consider (I know how stressful putting portfolios together can be and I miss things every time), so you don’t have to listen to them. Also just some grammatical/spelling suggestions.

    - Firstly, I would probably say 48 pages is quite a lot, is there a way you could filter it down?

    - Agreed with the comments above in terms of kerning on pages 3, 16, 17. Also, I’d be more aware of the space around the text on each segment on page 7, particularly under “graphic elements”.

    - Page 2 - L should be “laughter”

    - Page 6 - be aware of orphans at the end of paragraphs, under “personality”

    - Page 12 - You will know this being a designer, but I noticed “camera” is on two lines, I would take off the hyphen.

    - Personally, I prefer shorter lines when writing body text on these pages listed below, or at least make the whole paragraph lines more equal.
    Pages 13, 21, 28, 31, 40, 47, 48

    - Suggestion for the intro about yourself on page 48
“Hi! My name is Leonard, I’m a resilient, professional creative from.... whose strengths lie in ........ I have a keen eye for detail, always delivering projects to a high standard. I approach every project with an open mind. I get my inspiration from (e.g. Dribbble, The Dots, my peers, magazines etc etc). My main passion, when designing, is to design work that’s emotive for the audience, in order for it to be memorable to help achieve the end goal.

I’m always looking for new opportunities that will further my skill set and progression, whether that be in my spare time or in the work place.” And end it how you see fit, something along those lines perhaps.

Really great work though, well done!
  • It's nice! Tho I'd be careful with the kerning/traking in some places like in page 5, 16, 17
