Hello, I am launching a new brand "Yumme - No sugar crash snacks". Anyone with experience (& good advice) on how to launch a food business?
Hello
I’m the founder of Yumme – No Sugar Crash Snacks, a brand dedicated to creating nutritious, low-sugar snacks.
Only whole food ingredients, low in sugar and with a French gourmet twist.
Currently, I’m in the exciting process of launching the business, with plans to officially kick off at the beginning of 2025.
I’d greatly appreciate any insights you might have on a few key areas:
- best practices (and pitfalls to avoid) in artisan food business management,
- tips for finding a part-time dark kitchen, and
- important considerations when approaching small coffee shops or artisan retailers to sell products.
As a thank-you, I’d be delighted to share some free snacks with you to enjoy!

- @Sophie Renaude ... You're welcome ...Now of course, each of those 6 fundamentals need some deep diving, but, they need to be near perfected FIRST, before you start anything else ...The problem with 90+% of all businesses failing, is not the fact that they run out of money (like most think) ...It's because their strategy stinks, or they sought advice or guidance, and invested all of their money, with an Agency, their Salespeople, or any of the most common Marketing & Advertising "tactics" out there ...And they did that first, or nobody ever told them about creating a winning strategy, system, or roadmap for their business, and whatever it is they offer ...
- @Dave Smith Thanks !
- First, be very good at the fundamentals that grow a business ...When you are finished, you have created a strong foundation ...When you have, now work on your Marketing strategy ...Create your Market Dominating PositionFind out who are your target or ideal clients / customersUnderstand their decision-making process, when it comes to what you offerCreate Compelling messagesCreate a successful Sales Process(Lead Generation, Qualification, Conversion, and Nurturing)And last, deploy Strategic Marketing collateral instead of Tactical Marketing
