Hello, my loves! I am looking for an experienced writer to develop a new short fiction with.

It's important this person will also become my creative partner as I would like to work closely with someone who has a similar taste in film and outlook as I do. The goal is to create a screenplay which I then can pitch to funders with.

I understand the current situation we are all in due to COVID-19 but I believe there is no better time to focus on our creative abilities. So I am after someone preferably based in the United Kingdom, as it is going to be important to have regular meetings to get the ball rolling. Understandably we will have to start on Zoom, however it would be great to meet up and chat once this all blows over.

Here is my website for further information about myself and also to get a grasp on my style and creative portfolio: imogenlegrove.com

Please do get in touch if this sounds like something you would like to be involved in.

  • @Hamidah Duffus thanks for getting in touch! I’ll DM you now lovely!
  • @Peter Wright I also believe its a better film than Uncut Gems- I found their brother relationship so compelling! I will be sure to check out your website and perhaps I could send over an Email for a further chat?
  • @Imogen Legrove sonic soundtrack, neo-noir backdrop - love that sort of style too. And I think it’s a way better film than their second, uncut gems (I’m pretty much alone in that opinion though!).

Keep in touch because I also have a creative platform and maybe we could collaborate when we have an idea or a less strange time. If you want to have a look at my fiction stuff feel free to have a look at fortheedge.co.uk

  • @Peter Wright I would say I am heavily inspired by social realism and gritty drama. The Safdie brothers who directed 'Good Time' is a high reach away, however, it is a big aspiration to create a film that dark and beautiful. Please do not hesitate to contact me for further details!
