Hello the dots. I've recently launch https://dixc.design to not only showcase my design portfolio but also make hiring a designer easier.

  • Hire a designer from the palm of your hand and get unlimited changes

  • On-demand design studio, specialising in branding and content creation

  • No per-hour billing, no project costing, no monthly salary or retainer

Would love to hear what you guys honestly think, no sugar coating.

  • Hi Matthew,

Although for first look it seems very professional when you get more into details quite a lot things just for the shake of it without function and the design of the site takes attention away from the actual work you done.

Also just as a fun fact yellow is the colour of madness so drives people nuts if it makes sense, it's a proven fact of colour theory.

Sorry I didn't mean to spam but as I can clearly see you have skills it might helps to get it in the right direction.

feel free to check out my work on https://www.instagram.com/annadoralascsik/
  • @Maria Lucrezia Bortoluzzi really appreciate the positive feedback! I've taken a 2nd look at the project spacing.
Thanks again for your compliments Maria...
  • Super cool website and the idea of hiring a whole studio but online is brilliant! (Really admire tour work!!)

However, since you asked for no sugar-coated feedback, I'd say that the gap between projects on the Homepage should be reduced. In my opinion, when an image is half cropped you should already see part of the next one.

Hope to have been helpful :)
