Hey All, looking for artists, musicians and producers who would be able to answer a couple of questions on issues they are working through?
I'm an audio engineer, mixer and producer that works across London, i'm interested in what your current process is like and what music related bottenecks you are working through. Please comment on here and i'll direct message you. Thanks!

- It's a culmination of different factors. For me, I produce DnB mainly, and being from Bristol, this becomes a bottleneck for me as the scene is oversaturated here, being that Bristol is seen as one of the birthplaces of DnB (which is true, but the city has become overcrowded meaning Job opportunites are few and far between). On the flipside, I don't think the word "Bottleneck" is the right word, rather "Personal Bottleneck" might be more fitting. What springs to mind here is the 10,000 hours analogy. The more time and dedication you put into your craft, the more you get out of it.I've just finished writing an album funded by Youth Music's NextGen fund, and since then I've had some amazing opportunities including being asked to do a Careers talk for my old secondary school, as well as being interviewed on SWU by two of the well-known band Laid Blak (SWU is now part of the Rinse FM family along with the legendary Kool FM - if you're an Electronic Music lover you'll probably have heard of it).So it's not about what's holding you back, it's about what's going to get you to where you need to be. One of the only things right now that is going to get me to where I need to be is getting a job (be it full-time or part time) within the Music Industry, so that I can continue to develop my craft.
- @Leonard FUNK CAT® Wolf haha i can very much relate to this one
- Not in London but I'd say the core freelancer problem is findinding work combined with not having it all show up at the same time!
